Delhi, the most democratic capital of Indian Republic, is a mixture of modern and olden day India. The city is one of the main political center in the ancient India as well modern India. Today it is one of the main and biggest administrative center for Modern India. The place geographically starts from North of India. It has lots of historic places and monuments which are world famous. It has some great cultural historic past and ever so colorful present. The main attraction here is historic monument which are favorite amongst the visitors. There are some of very big shopping malls here and some of the greatest colorful markets. You can bargain from designer clothes to your simple pajama in the market. It’s a mix of modern times delhi and new delhi where you find people of all ages visiting the markets and great historic places.

Delhi is divided mainly in 2 parts ie., Old Delhi and New Delhi. The area which is now New Delhi was designed by British people, it displays some of the great architectural designs of British Raj. There are various festivals, events and art performances happening throughout the year.

Climate of Delhi :
Delhi has an extreme climate, its very hot during summers and very cold during winters. During summers, the temperature touches up to 45 degrees centigrade and its more chilling in winder with minimum of 4 degrees temperature. The best time to visit this city is between December and March.

Tourist Attractions of Delhi :
Delhi has lots of awesome places to visit, and is main tourists attractions in North. People around the world would like to visit Delhi than not any other city because of its historical cultural pasts. It has some great temples, forts, mosques and various museums to see which are really worth seeing once.

» Red Fort - This is one of the biggest architectural fort. This is built of red sandstone, it was built by the 5th Mughal emperor names Shahjahan. The foundation of this stone was done in the year 1618 and the construction was finished in the year 1647. the entry of this great fort has two gates namely called as Lahore Gate and Delhi Gate. The complex of the fort has some of the beautiful palaces with ornamentally decorated wall and pillars.

» Qutub Minar - This place was built in the year 1193, it was built by the first ruler of Delhi Sultanat Qutab-ud-din Aibak. According to the records, this is one of the highest stone tower throughout India which has a height of 73 Meters. The tower has in all five storeys having a diameter of 15 m at the base and 2.5 m gradually on the top. The first three storeys are made up of red sandstone while the fourth and the fifth are made up of Marble and Sandstone. The whole tower is ornamented with Inscripted bands and 4 balconies.

Red Fort - Delhi» Jama Masjid - Jama Masjid is located near the area of Red Fort, the most uniquely carved beautiful mosque was again built by Mughal emperor Shahjahan. This tomb is said to be one of the biggest across India. The Masjid has 3 gateways and 408 sq ft of courtyard. This is also the major attraction for tourist.

» India Gate - India Gate is 160 feet high a very beautiful building. This was specially built to commemorate the death of 70,000 Indian soldiers killed in World War I fighting for their country. This was designed by architecture Lutyens which has a arch of 138 feet. The most attractive part of this place is that it has an Eternal Flame which stands exactly in the center of the gate, this is a gesture to soldiers who lost their lives in 1971 war with Pakistan.

» Akshar Dham Temple - one of the most enchanting architectural heaven can be seen here. The temple is also known as the Swamy Narayan Temple. The temple has several monuments, scriptures and exhibitions inside the complex. It gives a glimpse of Indian richness.

Delhi being the major attraction for political outdo, is connected to major all cities in India through air, road, and railways also. Being the capital of India it is linked to major international destinations.
